What does Free actually include?

Free is built for evaluating the methodology. You can model your org — build competency frameworks, define up to 50 skills, set up career pathways, and run manager assessments. Up to 10 admins or managers can log in. You can also enter up to 40 employee records and assess them as a manager. What you can't do on Free is invite employees to log in and self-assess. When you're ready to engage your team, that's the trigger to upgrade.

How does the trial work, and what happens when it ends?

Once you're in Free, you can start a 14-day Scale trial directly from your dashboard — no credit card. During the trial you get everything in Scale: invite your team for self-assessments, turn on SSO, use the API, and see org-wide reporting. When the trial ends, your account flips back to Free, and anything above the Free limits becomes read-only until you upgrade. We never delete your data, so if you upgrade later everything restores instantly.

What's the difference between Team and Scale?

Team is built for small teams running the methodology end-to-end — manager and self-assessments, career pathways, certifications. Scale adds the things larger organizations need: SSO and SCIM, API and MCP access, audit logs, advanced org-wide reporting, and priority support. If you have an IT team that cares about provisioning, you want Scale.

Can I switch tiers or billing cadence later?

Yes. Upgrades and downgrades are self-serve and prorated, and you can switch between monthly and annual whenever you want. Annual billing on Team and Scale saves about 17% — roughly two months free.

What if we have more than 250 seats?

That's where Enterprise pricing comes in. Volume discounts kick in at 250 seats and scale further at 500, 1,000, and 2,500+. Enterprise includes a dedicated CSM, an 8-hour response SLA during business hours, custom contracts, data migration, and white-glove onboarding. Need around-the-clock coverage? Yes. SSO (SAML and OIDC) and SCIM provisioning are both standard on Scale at $12/user/month. We don't believe security should be a separate line item once you're past the smallest teams.
